Board of Directors Meeting
November 15, 2005
The meeting was held at the Madison Assembly of God Church and was opened at 6:00 pm.
Board Members Present: Jim Terry, Rosemary Terry, David Seitz, Paul Hurst, Richard Clem, and Keith Ryan
Board Member Absent: Philip Gaultney
Property Manager Present: Lois Brown
Visitors Present: Robert and Gloria Richardson, Kristine Seitz, Rik Holeman, and Debbra Ryan
Reading of the Minutes: The minutes of the previous meeting were approved via e-mail. After approval, the minutes were posted on the home page at http://bradfordfarms.com
Treasurer’s Report: None
Property Manager’s Report:
Total expenses for October:
$1,492.93
Total deposits made for October: None
Total deposits made for November: $600.00
Current cash balance (not including CD’s): $20,050.60
Total HOA funds: $33,528.40
Status of Holloway Credit Company’s progress: Nine homeowners have outstanding past
dues.
Landscaping Committee Report: Turf Tamer, Inc. will be asked to replace the new plants at the entrance to the subdivision with larger ones.
Maintenance Committee Report: The tree stumps in the median have been ground.
Welcome Committee Report: None
Old Business:
1. Dick presented three bids for planting four Cleveland Pear trees in the first median from Hughes Road and one in the second median from Hughes Road. The majority of board members who voted to plant the trees were: Dick Clem, Paul Hurst, David Seitz, Keith Ryan, and Jim Terry. Rosemary Terry did not vote to plant the trees. Enchanted Forest will do the planting at a cost of $1052.00 with a six month replacement guarantee.
2. Paul reported the ponds need seven more pounds of silver nitrate at a cost of $35.00 per package. The county extension office is out of silver nitrate at this time. More has been ordered. To be sure he has enough for next year, Paul will buy enough for two treatments.
New Business: A working budget was formulated by the board. The budget will be finalized next month and presented to the homeowners at the January annual meeting.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:22 pm.
The next meeting will be December 20, 2005 at the Madison Assembly of God Church at 6:00 pm.
