Old
Business:
(1) Gerry Lyons Fence Issue:
(a)
Issue involves fence
construction by Mr. Lyons neighbor which precludes Mr. Lyons from performing
maintenance on his own fence and which was not constructed to BFHA
convenants. This issue was brought
before the Board previously. The
issue continues.
(b) Mr. Lyons neighbor, previous homeowner, never took down
the fence in his yard as he had promised to do. Now the property has been sold and Mr.
Lyons is having to deal with the new homeowner who rents the property. The new homeowner has agree to take the
fence down if he had a place to put it.
(c)
Dick spoke to the
Association lawyer, who said the issue could be taken to court and Mr. Lyons/The
Association might win the case to force the new Homwoner to take the fence
down. But at what cost? Recommendation was made, and seconded,
that the Board approach the new homeowner and ask hm to abide by the Association
covenants. The Board agreed the
fence will come down at Association expense. Board voted on this, vote was
unanimous. Mr. Lyons left the
meeting satisfied at the outcome of this issue.
(2) New Storage Shed. Dick reported the new storage shed was bought, paid for, set up in the sub-division. At present, Dick, Mark, and Rick have keys. Cost of the shed was $1263.
(3) Dick provided the board with a draft of a letter he would like to send to Association members highlighting the Association by-laws dealing with cleanliness of ones homes. Dick will send a copy of the letter and the by-laws to homeowners as well as those renting from homeowners so all understand the by-laws.
(4) Meet the Association Gathering. Vondry was not available to discuss the progress of this. Nothing new to report.

(6) Rock wall in front of sub-division had been knocked over by an out of control vehicle. It is back up but will be replaced at a later date by a fence similar to that planned for the front of the sub-division.
(7) Vandalism in the Community. Dick briefed the Board on some recent vandalism in the neighborhood, specifically dealing with the signs around the ponds and around the Gazebo.
