Meeting:
Dick Clem called the meeting to order.
There were no minutes to report from January’s meeting.
Treasures Report:
Louis explained her job as accounts payable and the treasures job as accounts receivable. She also explained the operation budget sheet and the monthly financial statement as she does it. The budget is made in September and decided on by the board based on prior year expenditures. The accounting method was not known at the time and Louis will check with the accountant to see if it is accrual or cash method. The treasure report was approved.
No report from the social committee at this time,

Fence at Champions Green Court explained and Dick explained that he and others would finish it when the weather permits.
Carolyn passed out the updated list of homeowners. Louis is in the middle of learning Quickbooks so that all the information can be transferred from Access. Agree until she learns QuickBooks she would continue with Access. The purpose of QuickBooks was discussed. It was determined that the purpose was so that the Louis and the treasurer would have a common communication and it would be more user friendly. The treasurer is to learn QuickBooks as well.
Mr. Davis concerning his issues will be sent a letter by the new board. He has been sent a letter in 2000.
Information on grounds keeping was passed on to the new board:
- Electrical problem fixed
- Irrigation will need work
- The front entrance will need to be redesigned
Dick talked to the attorney for BF about houses sold with liens on them placed by BF for delinquent dues. The attorney states that it is the previous owners responsibility first if they can be located. The current owner must contact the title insurance company or the new owner can be sued.
Homes that have sold with liens:
- 121 Green Springs Dr.
- 208 Green Springs Lane
Suggestion by Jim Terry was to look for an outside collection agency and maybe palce a judgment. Dick will check with the attorney about this.
Mr. Rupert contacted Dick to see about purchasing the easement located behind his home. No decision made at this time.
For better visibility City of Madison trying to put reflectors on the curb, and possibly putting a cross walk at Champions Green Dr and another one at Hughes Rd.
